Stake President

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

            We are looking forward to meeting with you in Stake Conference this weekend. As we gather again as a stake, we look forward to the promised blessing given by the Savior anciently and in our day to His disciples, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20; see also D&C 6:32).

            With faith in that promise, we invite you to join us this weekend, Saturday March 23rd and Sunday March 24th. On Saturday from 7-8:30pm we will hold a session for all adult members of the stake 18 years old and older.  Priesthood leadership meeting will be held Sunday morning from 7:30-9am.  Those meetings will be held at the stake center at 8732 Desert Canyon Rd. The general session for all stake members will be Sunday from 10am-12pm. For the general session, you are invited to attend the building where you attend with your ward each Sunday. If health concerns prevent you from attending in person, please reach out to your bishop so that we can provide the broadcast to your home.

            In preparation for stake conference, we invite you to accept the invitation of the First Presidency: “This Easter season, we invite you to ponder the Savior’s atoning sacrifice and glorious Resurrection, which bless all of us.” We specifically invite you to do so by reading and pondering Luke 23:39-44, John chapters 19-20 and D&C 19:16-19. We invite you to enjoy the fellowship of the Saints as we learn together of the Savior Jesus Christ and prepare for Easter Sunday.
